The Business
Established in 1840, The Thistle Inn is New Zealand's oldest pub, we have an intriguing and unique history that has become intertwined in Wellington’s hospitality scene. Our venue has a classic kiwi pub vibe with a modern and contemporary approach. Our wine and beer selection is vast and ever-changing, whilst our menu strives to be always simple & delicious. We are renowned for throwing wonderful parties for events such as Wellington on a Plate and have hosted some amazing local celebrities. We love our locals and always welcome new faces, knowing that they’ll share their awesome experiences with their friends and family.
